Road Kill Policies

Gilford

One of the two people respond, collect the animal and then take it to our brush burning facility to be incinerated in the next scheduled burn of our brush.

Gilford, we have dedicated two employees to the task of bagging and removing road kill. These two employees have current shots protecting them from rabies and each have a "kit" available to them. These kits include bleach, strong latex gloves ( that are thrown away after each use), strong garbage bags for small to medium animals and usually a shovel.
