Mission: The mission of the Public Works Best Practices Committee is to foster improved services to residents through development of a self-evaluation/improvement program. Public Works Best Practices Binder
Guiding Principles: To meet its mission the committee is committed to the following principles: Participation by any agency in any program is voluntary. The committee will strive to provide high quality training, education and consultation opportunities for participating agencies. The committee will strive to provide credible sample policies, operating procedures and practices to participating agencies. The committee will recognize all points of view. The committee will encourage effective communication throughout all levels of the workforce, and emphasize its positive influence on operations & morale.
